Research On The Design Strategy Of Community Elderly Care Service Facilities For The Reconstruction Of Existing Houses In Xi’an

With the continuous growth of the national elderly population,the number of community home-based elderly care population in China is increasing rapidly.In order to meet the elderly care service needs of a large number of community home-based elderly people,the practice of transforming community stock buildings into community elderly care service facilities is increasing day by day.Existing residential buildings have become the main choice for the construction of transformed community elderly care facilities.There has been a preliminary exploration on the existing residential transformation community elderly care service facilities in Xi’an.This paper takes the existing residential transformation community elderly care service facilities in Xi’an as the research object.Through investigation and visit,it is found that most of the facilities put into operation have great differences in functional configuration standards,service objects and service contents,resulting in the incompatibility between the service contents of the facilities and the diversified needs of the community elderly care,low utilization rate in the later stage Serious waste of resources.In this context,the representative sample cases of Xi’an’s facilities of this type are selected through investigation,and the spatial layout,site selection characteristics,original building structure type,transformation mode,operation mode,service content,etc.are investigated and analyzed.Four current types of existing residential transformation community elderly care service facilities in Xi’an are summarized: comprehensive service facilities,activity facilities,day care facilities,and full-time care facilities,In addition,the scale,service content,personnel allocation and service process,space transformation mode,function composition and area ratio,space layout and streamline of the four types of facilities are studied in detail,and the common problems faced by the existing residential transformation community elderly care service facilities in Xi’an are summarized.Appropriate strategies are put forward for the pain points and difficulties faced in the site selection,space transformation and transformation process,And build an adaptation strategy between the selection of appropriate existing housing and appropriate existing community elderly care service facilities.Finally,from the aspects of site selection,existing residential selection,facility scale and function configuration,spatial layout,this paper puts forward detailed design strategies for comprehensive service,day care and full-time care facilities suitable for the transformation of existing residential buildings in Xi’an.It is expected that the research of this paper can provide reference for the future research and development of Xi’an existing residential transformation community elderly care service facilities.
