| Information literacy is one of the key literacies required of citizens in the digital age,and cultivating students’ information literacy has become a key task in school education.The Action Plan for Education Informatization 2.0 sets improving information literacy of teachers and students as a basic goal and implementation action,and the China Education Monitoring and Evaluation Statistical Index System(2020 Edition)takes the rate of students’ information literacy attainment as an evaluation index of the national acceptance of school education.Secondary vocational education has a fundamental role,and secondary vocational schools are an important place for cultivating skilled talents.It is important to study the information literacy of secondary vocational school students to cultivate high-quality skilled talents and improve the level of vocational school operation.This study firstly compares the domestic and foreign research literature about information literacy research,focusing on reading the literature about information literacy evaluation,especially about information literacy evaluation of vocational school students,and drawing on the experience of the existing research results in the selection of evaluation dimensions,evaluation index selection,index system construction,questionnaire preparation,etc.Combining the contents of the introduction of resource environment and safety majors in secondary vocational education,teaching standards of resource environment majors and occupational standards of resource environment majors,the information literacy evaluation index system for students of resource environment majors in secondary vocational schools was constructed,with three primary indicators: information emotion and awareness,information knowledge and ability,and information social responsibility,and several secondary indicators under each of the three primary indicators.There are 13 secondary indicators in total.According to the index system,a questionnaire on information literacy for students of resource and environment majors in a secondary vocational school was prepared,and a questionnaire survey was conducted with students of three resource and environment majors-engineering surveying technology,aerial photogrammetry,and mapping and GIS-in a secondary vocational school in Ji`nan,Shandong Province.After summarizing the questionnaire data and conducting exploratory data analysis and variance analysis on the data,the current situation and causes of information literacy among students of resource and environment majors in secondary vocational schools were analyzed,and the conclusions were as follows: students of resource and environment majors in secondary vocational schools already have a certain degree of information literacy,which is due to the popularity of information courses and information equipment to lay the foundation for having information literacy;in three specific dimensions Among the three specific dimensions,the level of students’ information knowledge and ability is relatively the worst,which is due to the fact that students’ daily access to the Internet and use of information devices are mainly for entertainment,and they seldom learn information knowledge and skills;the level of students’ professional information literacy is relatively average,which is due to the students’ short years of professional study and general interest in learning;there are significant differences in students’ information literacy in different majors,which is due to the existence of different This is due to the existence of different curriculum systems and schooling levels in different majors.The study also proposes countermeasures for the improvement of information literacy of students majoring in resources and environment in secondary vocational schools: secondary vocational schools should improve information infrastructure and build secondary digital campuses;promote information-based teaching methods and improve secondary teachers’ information-based teaching ability;reform secondary teaching methods and integrate information literacy cultivation into professional teaching;play the role of educational academic research and strengthen information literacy in the field of secondary vocational education Research on information literacy in secondary vocational education. |
