Research On Spatio-temporal Pattern And Coupling Coordination Characteristics Of Territorial Space Utilization Efficiency In China’s Land Border Zone

Territorial space is the integration of urban,agricultural and ecological space interaction.Scientific evaluation of territorial space utilization efficiency is the basis for measuring the utilization status of regional territorial space resources,and has important theoretical significance for the readjustment and optimization of territorial space utilization.China’s land border areas are an important part of safeguarding national territory security and realizing comprehensive and coordinated development of regional social economy.The evaluation and coordination of land space utilization efficiency is related to national governance and development.Therefore,this study takes urban space,agricultural space and ecological space as research objects and constructs an evaluation index system based on input-output perspective.By means of super-SBM model,coupled coordination degree model,nonparametric kernel density,trend surface analysis and other methods,the spatial and temporal pattern characteristics and regional differences of urban,agricultural and ecological space use efficiency and coupled coordination degree of 45 cities in China’s land border region during 2000-2020 were evaluated and analyzed.Finally,based on the development of territorial space utilization efficiency and its coupling coordination degree,brief suggestions are put forward.The results are as follows:(1)On the whole,the comprehensive efficiency of territorial space utilization in China’s land border areas developed well during 2000-2020,with the average efficiency value increasing from 0.4008 in 2000 to 0.5203 in 2020,an increase of29.82%.Among them,the efficiency of urban space,agricultural space and ecological space utilization all show different degrees of increase,but the overall efficiency of ecological space utilization is still at a low level,and there is much room for improvement.(2)There are significant regional differences in land space use efficiency in China’s land border areas,and the Gini coefficient increases with time,showing obvious imbalance in efficiency development.In addition,the sources of differences in different years are not evenly distributed.In 2000 and 2020,regional differences are the main sources of overall differences;from 2005 to 2010,interval differences make the largest contribution to overall differences,and in 2015,the contribution to supervariable density is the largest.Specifically,the difference of urban space use efficiency is shrinking,and the development tends to be balanced,while the regional difference of agricultural space use efficiency and ecological space use efficiency is obvious,and the development is unbalanced.(3)From 2000 to 2020,the comprehensive efficiency of land space utilization in China’s land border areas has been improved,and the spatial distribution of high level,medium level and low level areas is uneven,which changes from fewer high level areas and more medium and low level areas to high,medium level areas and less low level areas,and the contiguous degree of the three horizontal areas has been improved.Specifically,the number of high-level districts of urban space,agricultural space and ecological space use efficiency increased,the number of medium-level and low-level districts of urban space and ecological space use efficiency decreased,and the degree of contiguity decreased,while the medium-level and low-level districts of agricultural space use efficiency increased,and the number of low-level districts decreased,and the degree of contiguity of spatial distribution increased.The changes in the number and distribution of territorial space utilization efficiency level areas come from the improvement of efficiency,that is,the transformation from medium and low level efficiency to high level efficiency.(4)From 2000 to 2020,the coupling coordination level of urban space,agricultural space and ecological space utilization efficiency in China’s land border areas showed a trend of continuous improvement on the whole.There was a phenomenon of multi-polar differentiation in the level value,and the number of border cities whose value was close to the mean value was more,and the distribution of high value and low value was less.The difference and proportion between high and low coupling coordination degree in the whole border region remained relatively stable.(5)The coupling coordination degree of territorial space use efficiency in China’s land border areas showed a spatial distribution pattern of "high in the west and low in the east,and high in the south and low in the north".From the perspective of direction,the coupling coordination degree in the west is better than that in the east and the south is better than that in the north.From the perspective of spatial unit,the coupling coordination degree changes from low value area and median area,and less high value area to low value area,and more middle value area and high value area.From the perspective of transformation type,42% of border cities show the positive development type of recession dissonance-transition dissonance-basic coordination-coordinated development or basic coordination-coordinated development,36% of border cities have the negative development type of coordinated development-basic coordination,basic coordination-transition coordination,and decline dissonance,and22% of border cities have the stable development type of maintaining the same development state.
