Since the founding of new China,China has experienced an urbanization rate from 10.64 percent in 1949 to 59.58 percent in 2018.Become the important force that pulls socioeconomic development.China's urbanization lacks long-term and systematic planning,fails to implement the concept of green development into the process of urbanization development,ignores the bearing capacity of resources and environment,and promotes urbanization through the development approach of high investment and high pollution,which has caused serious negative impact on the ecological environment.The coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment is not only conducive to the transformation of urbanization from quantitative change to qualitative change,but also of great significance to the construction of "ecological civilization".At present,most areas of China still have urban land sprawl,rapid growth of pollutant emissions,and a serious lack of environmental planning,leading to a serious imbalance between the development of urbanization and the development of ecological environment.Due to the differences in basic factors such as economy,population and resources among regions,the coordinated development level between urbanization and ecological environment is also unbalanced.Therefore,the problem of coordinated development between the two is worthy of further study.This paper takes 110 prefecture-level cities in the Yangtze river economic belt as an example to measure the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment,and studies the factors that affect the coordinated development of the two,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.This paper on the basis of referring to relevant research results at home and abroad,then combines the actual situation of the Yangtze river economic belt.Firstly,a comprehensive indicator system of urbanization and ecological environment was established,and then the comprehensive development level of urbanization and ecological environment in the Yangtze river economic belt was calculated by factor analysis method,and the coupling coordination degree model was established to calculate the coupling and coordinated development level of urbanization and ecological environment in the Yangtze river economic belt.Then moran index and moran scatter graph were used to test the spatial correlation of coupling coordination degree.Finally,the spatial dubin model was established to explore the factors that affected the coupling and coordination degree of urbanization and ecological environment in the Yangtze river economic belt.According to the above research findings:(1)the level of ecological envirorunent development in the Yangtze river economic belt exceeded the level of urbanization development in 2011.The degree of coupling and coordination between urbanization and ecological environment increased year by year,but the overall level was low,and the provincial capital cities as the center showed a decreasing trend from the inside out.(2)both the moran index and the moran scatter plot showed that there was a positive spatial correlation between urbanization and the degree of ecological environment coupling coordination in the Yangtze river economic belt.(3)the results of the spatial dubin model showed that:the level of economic development,the level of financial development,the level of opening to the outside world,environmental policies and human capital accumulation can promote the coupling and coordination degree of the region,while the level of industrialization can inhibit it.Among them,the level of industrialization and opening up can promote the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment in neighboring areas through positive spatial spillover effect,while the level of economic development and the level of financial development restrain the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment in neighboring areas.Based on the research results in this paper,the following suggestions are proposed:firstly,the positive spatial spillover effect of urbanization and ecological environment coupling coordination degree in the Yangtze river economic belt is used to realize regional joint development.Second,adhere to industrial transformation and upgrading,strengthen the level of opening to the outside world.Moreover,according to local characteristics,measures should be taken according to local conditions to realize the regional differentiated development strategy.Finally,strengthen the macro-regulation role of the government and strengthen the governance of the ecological environment.
