| At present,the rapid economic growth has brought air pollution,regional development imbalance and other problems.Resolving the contradiction between air pollution control and economic development has become an urgent need for China’s economic transition to green development.Therefore,it is helpful to improve the air quality to study the efficiency of air pollution emission and analyze its causes.In order to achieve the coordinated development of air pollution emissions and industrial structure,this paper first incorporated environmental pollution factors into an index system through the super-efficient SBM-Undesirable model,thus building an air pollution emission efficiency rating system in China and calculating the air pollution emission efficiency of 30 provinces in China except Xizang during 2005-2019.The natural fracture method of ArcGIS software was used to divide air pollution emission efficiency into effective,ineffective and weakly effective.At the same time,China was divided into three regions,namely east,middle and west,to analyze the spatio-temporal difference of air pollution emission efficiency.Secondly,the industrial structure rationalization index and the high-level index were calculated respectively,and the coupling coordination degree model was used to evaluate the coordination level of air pollution emission efficiency and industrial structure optimization in each region of China,and the level division and spatial visualization analysis were carried out.On this basis,the influence of China’s industrial structure optimization on air pollution emission efficiency was discussed.Finally,combined with the empirical results,the paper puts forward specific countermeasures and suggestions for the overall improvement of air pollution emission efficiency in China.The findings are as follows:(1)The average level of air pollution emission efficiency in Chinese provinces in the past 15 years is concentrated between 0.38 and 0.47,which is close to the weak effective state,and the overall trend is downward.Beijing,Shanghai and Guangdong all had effective emission efficiency,while 23 provinces had ineffective air pollution emission efficiency,among which the two provinces with the lowest efficiency were located in western China.From the spatial distribution of air pollution emission efficiency values of the three regions,the average efficiency from high to low is the eastern region,the central region and the western region.(2)The coupling coordination of air pollution emission efficiency with rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure in the eastern region is significantly higher than that in the central and western regions.The air environment and industrial structure have not developed in harmony.Among them,the coupling type with low air pollution emission efficiency but high coordination degree is the main type of coupling relationship between air pollution emission efficiency and industrial optimization in China,and there is an obvious low level between air pollution emission efficiency and industrial optimization in different regions of China.(3)The rationalization of industrial structure,the upgrading of industrial structure,the level of economic development,the level of science and technology and government intervention can promote the improvement of air pollution emission efficiency,while the level of opening to the outside world,environmental regulation and energy consumption have an inhibitory effect on air pollution emission efficiency. |
