In this paper,the collective memory in urban space is taken as the perspective,and the old street in Kunming is taken as the research object.Based on the theories of spatial medialization and collective memory,this paper discusses the propagation trajectory of Kunming old street's memory in urban space.It is concluded that in space,the formation process of memory goes through the steps of production,reproduction and screening processing,and both the official and the folk participate in it,which changes the content and meaning of memory.In the continuous practice activities,a more representative urban memory has been formed.The content structure of the paper is mainly divided into four parts: The first part is the introduction,which clarifies the reason and significance of the research,clearly puts forward the research questions and summarizes the relevant research status at home and abroad.The second part is the first chapter,which discusses the characteristics of urban space and collective memory respectively,and discusses the relationship between space production and memory flow from the perspective of communication.The third part is the second and the third chapter.Through the comprehensive application of quantitative and qualitative research methods,the outline of the collective memory of Kunming old street is described and the emotional significance is extracted,and the flow link of memory is discussed respectively.The fourth part is the fourth chapter and the conclusion.In this part,the model of memory flow trajectory is summarized based on the previous research,thinking about the construction of urban memory space in the future,and reflecting on the shortcomings of the whole research.
