Study On The Construction Of Collective Memory By Media Events

In the 1990 s,Daniel Dejan and Eliuskz first proposed the concept of media events,defining it as a major historical event broadcast live via television.This definition provides a new framework and method for the study of media events,and lays the theoretical foundation of relevant research.Based on this,this paper analyzes the construction of the collective memory of the typical media event "celebrating the conference of the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China".The Party’s 100 th birthday,a critical juncture in the historical convergence of the two centenary Goals,demonstrates the Party’s ambition to lead the Chinese people from standing up,becoming rich and becoming stronger.It is not only a scale of time,but also a yardstick of struggle.On July 1,2021,to celebrate the birthday of the communist party of China,the party and state leaders jointly with the social people from all walks of life in tiananmen square,the country and the world through various media witnessed the celebration,solemn moment,shock scene,inspiring speech left a deep impression on the audience.Therefore,to celebrate the 100 th anniversary of the challenge undoubtedly become a beginner’s mind,inheritance spirit of grand ceremony,become a national event,it with an unprecedented scale and challenge of revival,the force of the era attracted the attention of the world,become a typical media events,it through the ceremony performance and symbol bearing,construct the people’s collective memory.Based on the relevant theories of media events,this paper deeply analyzes the construction of the collective memory of the Chinese people held on celebrating the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China,and then explores the significance of the construction of the collective memory of this media event.The full text is mainly divided into four parts.The first part is based on the characteristics and scripts of the media events,Starting from the event itself,Explore why the celebration of the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China can be defined as a typical media event;The second part analyzes the ritual time,ritual space and ritual composition of this medium event,How to construct the memory in the process of its ritualization;The third part,from both linguistic and non-linguistic symbols,To explore the symbols unique to this media event,Analyze the specific meaning of the celebration of the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China;The fourth part discusses the significance of constructing the collective memory of celebrating the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China,It is pointed out that this media event deepens the content of the construction of collective memory,shapes the image of the party that does not forget the original aspiration,enhances the recognition of the party and the strengthening of the community consciousness of the Chinese nation.
