“A rough cloth wraps up one’s career,and one’s abdomen is full of poetry andcalligraphy.” Since ancient times,reading has influenced a person’s temperament and talent,and played an important guiding role in human growth and life.As the literature resource center of colleges and universities,university libraries shoulder the important mission of guiding and promoting students’ reading,and stimulate students’ interest in reading through reading promotion activities,so as to enhance students’ professional quality and comprehensive ability.However,the development of a thing needs constant innovation to play a better role,and so does reading promotion.In order to adapt to the development of the times and be accepted and loved by college students in the new era,reading promotion activities are integrated with the experience economy theory,forming the experiential reading promotion activities of university libraries,that is,paying more attention to the participation and experience of participants in the activities to make the activities more experiential and three-dimensional.Since 2014,China has written "Reading for All" into the government work report for eight consecutive years,which shows that China has a high expectation for the realization of "Reading for All",and the experiential reading promotion activities of university libraries can promote the realization of "Reading for All".Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the experiential reading promotion strategies of university libraries.In this paper,research methods such as literature review,online investigation,case analysis and comparative study are used to support this research.After analyzing the investigation background,the current situation of topic selection,and the definition of related concepts,the experiential reading promotion activities sponsored by 51 colleges and universities of five school levels and eleven subject types in China in 2021 are statistically compared and analyzed,and then the large-scale indoor game reasoning activities— "Picture with title" and "Welcome Together" held by the library of Nanjing Forestry University are selected.Finally,it analyzes the problems and solutions of experiential reading promotion activities from the aspects of activity content,library self-construction and students’ participation in the activities,and puts forward the prospect for the development of experiential reading promotion activities in university libraries. |
