Construction Of Research Data Service Model For University Libraries In Open Data Environment

With the emergence of open sharing,scientific research projects began to use open access scientific research data,promoting the start and development of open scientific research,which has also received the importance and attention of government agencies and scientific research institutions in various countries,and a large amount of scholars began to study the theoretical and practical status of scientific research data services.The relevant research mainly focuses on theoretical research on research data management and research on the practical status of research data service by questionnaire or network research,and simply proposes suggestions for the current research data service in Chinese universities,and the research on service mode is relatively lacking.The research methods of this study are literature research,network research,case study and comparative research.Firstly,we have a certain overall understanding of the basic concepts and the existing relevant literature publication and content.On this basis,the research data service contents currently carried out by 20 first-class university libraries abroad are investigated by means of network research and comparative analysis,and the similarities and differences of service contents such as data management policies,data management plans and data service tools in their service development are compared and analyzed.The open research data service platforms ICPSR,UDKA,and ARROW,which are large in scale,are selected as research cases for the network research of research data service content.From the research,we analyze the open research data service model and service characteristics of foreign university libraries.Meanwhile,this study also conducts web research on open research data services of four domestic university libraries,and comparatively analyzes the policies,service contents,themes and types of data sets of open research data services of domestic universities,compares the domestic and foreign service models,and summarizes the existing problems of open research data services of domestic university libraries.On this basis,the aggregated data knowledge base service model of university libraries is proposed,combining the data knowledge base with the front and back ends of the open platform.The necessity and responsibilities of university libraries to provide open data services,the design basis of the service model,the mechanism of the service model,the system structure of the service platform,the service content and overall process,the five service application scenarios in the service model,the service and data quality monitoring and management,the Service department and team formation.
