In the context of the rise of the fourth research paradigm and the data driven scientific research,the University Science and education personnel and college students must improve their scientific data by improving their scientific data quality to innovate the scientific and technological achievements.The public should also improve their scientific data literacy to adapt to the constantly updated society of data resources under big data environment.Scientific data literacy is the dynamic development of information literacy with the emergence of the digital society.The rich experience accumulated in the information literacy education in the university library has the resources and ability to carry out the scientific data literacy education.The research train of thought in this paper: first,research and sort out the related theories of scientific data literacy.Through the investigation of the scientific data literacy education practice of "two first-class" university libraries through the network research method,the level and demand of scientific data literacy ability of science and education personnel,students and social personnel are analyzed on the basis of the questionnaire survey.Finally,some suggestions are put forward to improve the scientific data literacy education of university libraries.The details are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,mainly including the research background and significance,the research status of scientific data literacy education at home and abroad,research ideas and contents,research methods and so on.The second chapter is the related concept and theoretical basis.Through the definition of the concept,the concept of scientific data literacy is clearly grasped,to clarify the relationship between scientific data literacy and information literacy,element raising,statistical literacy and digital literacy,and to establish the principles of scientific data literacy education in university libraries.The third chapter,through the combination of the paper questionnaire,analyzes the user's scientific data literacy requirement and utilization behavior.From the three dimensions of data basic knowledge,data basic skills and data application,we can understand the level of different users' scientific data literacy ability,from data training needs,data infrastructure,specific data analysis software needs and users' preferred training methods.To analyze the needs of different groups for scientific data services.Through website research,we know the basic situation of scientific data literacy education in Colleges and universities,as well as the content of education,the form of education,the way of publicity,the classification of the audience and the degree of social openness.Based on the findings,suggestions for educational practice are put forward.
