An Analysis On The News Frame Of The Front-line Anti Epidemic Groups During The SARS And COVID-19 Period ——Taking People's Daily As An Example

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19,China's mainstream media People's Daily has recorded and reported the deeds of many front-line anti epidemic groups,which has brought moving and strength to the people in the epidemic.At the same time,SARS,as a memory of the epidemic,has also been frequently "awakened" at present,which has become the comparative background of the COVID-19 and constitutes the comparative basis of the news reporting framework.Based on the framework theory of Professor Zang Guoren's three-level structure of high,medium and low levels,this research analyzes the reports of the front-line anti epidemic groups in the two epidemics in People's Daily.The three-level theory of high,medium and low is a news frame theory.The high level focuses on the theme of the report,the middle level focuses on causal analysis,and the low level focuses on language rhetoric.These three levels constitute the overall framework of news.This research analyzes the reporting materials of People's Daily from three levels,supplemented by visual presentation.Trying to understand what news framework the People's Daily has adopted?What qualities were retained between the two times?What has changed?And why does this change occur?How does it relate to China's social transformation?The research found that the report on the front-line anti epidemic groups has changed from the sacred,patterned and authoritative news framework constructed in the SARS to the ordinary,differentiated and Empathetic news framework in the COVID-19.Through the presentation of reports,this change is embodied as follows:first,the subject of reports continues to sink,and a large number of stories of bottom groups and ordinary people have been discovered;Second,the report is no longer only about the publicity and construction of spiritual attributes,but also aims to explore the identity and emotional resonance under flexible thinking;Third,the narrative technique has changed from others' narration to self narration.The front-line"attribute of the anti epidemic groups is inspired by the "proximity" principle of news.It should be noted that this is an ideal type of induction,which means that the news frame in the two periods is not an antagonistic relationship,but exists at the same time and has its own focus.The research shows that the changes in People's Daily actually reflect the process of news events shaping social memory under social changes.In the shaping of the values behind the report,news events as memory have evolved into memories as news events,constantly pursuing the value identity under social stability and turning to"people-centered",reflecting the identity change and value care of China's journalism.
