Reading can improve personal literacy, and is of great benefit to the country's cultural development and social progress. Moreover, the "Blue Book of Cultural Development" has clearly pointed out that the current reading willingness, reading time, and reading volume of Chinese people need to be further strengthened.Guided reading has been recognized as an important measure to promote cultural development.Mobile reading is currently the reading method with the highest contact rate among the people. However, current mobile readers have the problems of insufficient reading willingness, insufficient reading time, and insufficient reading depth.Under the impact of the epidemic, more and more players in the field of mobile reading have poured into the track. However, the product design of mobile reading companies has problems such as not stimulating more readers' willingness to read, poor reading experience, low reader stickiness, and catering to the entertainment needs of readers. It does not play a good role in guiding reading. The field of mobile reading is the core position of guided reading. There are various aspects of research related to mobile reading, and products are the core tools for mobile reading companies to communicate with readers,as well as the basic tools that can guide users to read. This article uses the five-element model of user experience to study product design of third-party e-reading software for mobile phones that provide e-book reading on the market, explores how the design of mobile reading products should be optimized from three aspects: increasing reading willingness, increasing reading time, and increasing reading depth, builds a product model for mobile reading companies with the goal of guiding reading, and provide them with product optimization references. The research is divided into six parts: The first chapter uses the literature analysis method to study the background of reading guidance and mobile reading, and the research status of “guided reading”,“mobile reading products” and “five elements of user experience” at home and abroad, and choose appropriate research methods; The second chapter focuses on the necessity of reading guidance in mobile reading product design, mainly including mobile reading companies that need to take the responsibility of reading guidance, readers need reading guidance in mobile reading, and mobile reading product design does not play the role of reading guidance;Chapter 3 introduces an overview of the five elements of user experience and its applicability to this research;Chapter 4 uses the interview method and user research method to build a product model aimed at guiding reading from the five levels of the five-element theory of user experience, determine user needs, transform them into corresponding functions, give a prototype design, and summarize the characteristics of the model;Chapter 5 uses this model as a standard to compare and analyze the two cases of the industry's most influential palm reading and We Chat reading, which has a small reputation in guiding reading, and studies the five levels of the five elements of user experience in the two apps.Whether it meets the requirements of the model; The sixth chapter puts forward some suggestions for product optimization in the mobile reading industry from the fiveelement level of user experience based on the research and analysis results.Through research, this article has determined three directions for guiding reading: enhancing reading willingness, increasing reading time, and increasing reading depth. When building the model,we interviewed users with this as the goal, and determined that users have the needs of diversified reading content, convenient retrieval, suitable price, good experience, immersive reading, reading incentives, increasing the proportion of classic reading, and in-depth reading in these aspects. Then give the corresponding function to solve the problem, use the KANO questionnaire to determine the demand attribute and function priority to the user, determine "no interference when reading, classic book recommendation and re-enter to provide a review after exiting"as necessary requirements."Copyright covers all areas, bookstores are free, and easy to find books" is the desired demand,"readers are imitated paper books, imitated paper book notes and bookmarks, book recommendation accuracy" are glamorous requirements,"mind map guides reading "A lot of books and reading incentives" are indifferent attribute requirements. Finally, the model was constructed from the level of information architecture and interaction design, and the prototypes of the three main pages of "Book Search","Recommendation" and "Reader" were designed, the basic principles of visual design were given, and the feasibility test was used. The prototype drawing was investigated and confirmed that the prototype is reasonable and feasible. After analyzing the palm reading and We Chat reading,it is found that guided reading is not the product goal of palm reading. The characteristics of palm reading are complete copyright, focus on commercialization, and complete basic functions, but the design is slightly complicated.Guided reading is one of the product design directions of We Chat Reading. Its characteristics are close to free reading, extreme user experience, high proportion of classic book recommendations, attention to social interaction and thinking, simplicity and humanity in design. After analyzing the case,it is proposed for mobile reading companies to add product goals that promote reading, increase the proportion of reading guidance functions, reasonably highlight the reading guidance functions, pursue the ultimate reading experience, and make suggestions to meet the positioning of the visual style.
