Research On The Participation Of University Libraries In Public Culture Services ——Taking The Library Of ZH University As An Example

Public cultural services refer to cultural products,public cultural facilities,cultural activities and other related services that are led by the government and participated by social forces to meet the basic cultural needs of citizens.As the document storage base of universities and colleges,college libraries have experienced a long period of development and improvement,with more extensive literature materials,rich human resources,and unique resource advantages.University libraries should carry out public cultural services for social users under the premise of ensuring campus services and normal working order.However,the rich collection resources of university libraries have not been more widely used by social readers,and its social functions have not been fully realized.In response to the above problems,the paper describes the status quo of university libraries participating in public cultural services.Designed,distributed and collected the questionnaires for ZH University Library's participation in public cultural services,and analyzed and concluded that the problems of university libraries' participation in public cultural services include imperfect policies and laws and regulations,the constraints of traditional ideas and concepts,and insufficient public cultural services.,Imperfect management,etc.,and analyze the causes of the problems from the university and social levels.Finally,corresponding solutions are proposed based on the problems,such as strengthening the implementation of relevant laws and policies,including improving library-related laws and policies,improving the public cultural service system of university libraries,improving the organizational structure and strengthening communication and coordination,and improving Evaluation system;change ideological concepts and enhance service awareness,including strengthening the awareness of public cultural construction of university library personnel,improve the feedback mechanism of the public's cultural needs,and optimize the incentive system of cultural services in academic libraries;developing diverse projects and improving public Cultural service guarantee,including the use of advanced technology,opening up rich collection resources,doing well in book promotion and interlibrary cooperation,data analysis and reader positioning,developing diversified service methods,and expanding funding sources;strengthening library management,including strengthening human resources Management,strengthening the construction of the talent team,and providing theoretical references for promoting the development of public cultural services in academic libraries in China.
