Parent-child reading plays an essential part in training reading habits in kids and coordinating parent-child relationship.In recent years,with the increasing attention of the state and society to family education,parent-child reading has become an important way for modern families to communicate between parents and children.As a public welfare institution providing reading services for the society,public libraries are also constantly concerned about the reading situation of parent-child families,implementing relevant measures and carrying out relevant activities to urge the sustainable development of parent-child reading.The popularization of parent-child reading in public libraries,on the one hand,enriches the form and content of the promotion of public library reading,on the other hand,contributes the power of the library to the family parent-child reading.It helps some families who are confused in parent-child reading to solve the problems in parent-child reading,and better promotes the nationwide reading.This paper investigates the current situation of parent-child reading promotion in public libraries in Zhejiang,selects eighteen public libraries as the relevant investigation objects to carry out the research from three stages,so as to put forward the relevant strategies of promoting parent-child reading promotion in public libraries in Zhejiang Province.The first stage is to carry out related theoretical study.It mainly to make clear the background of the study,illustrate the current research status of parent-child reading promotion for public libraries at home and abroad.It also explains and summarizes the main concepts,and explains some theoretical basis related to the promotion of parent-child reading in public libraries,so as to lay a foundation for the development of the following paper.The second stage is to carry out the relevant investigation.Based on the investigation and design of the current situation of parent-child reading promotion in Zhejiang provincial public libraries,this paper probes into the current situation of parent-child reading promotion in Zhejiang Provincial Public Libraries from the main body,channel,content,brand construction and other aspects,so as to find the advantages of parent-child reading promotion in Zhejiang Provincial public libraries,At the same time,it also summarizes the shortcomings of Zhejiang public library in the promotion of parent-child reading.The third stage puts forward the optimization strategy of parent-child reading promotion in public library from five aspects: the main body,the object,the channel,the content and the brand of parent-child reading promotion.It thinks that the public library should take full advantage of the main body of parent-child reading promotion,expand the scope of attention to the objects of parent-child reading promotion,improve the effect of parent-child reading promotion offline and online,strengthen the innovation of parent-child reading promotion content,starting with the unique brand image of parent-child reading promotion.These strategies help to improve the parent-child reading promotion service of public libraries.
