Parent-Child Reading Group is an important promotion form for children’s reading,but the current situation of Parent-Child Reading Group is very dissatisfying and concerning.As the carrier of public cultural space and reading promotion platform,Public Library should be responsible for the development of Public Library and are qualified to promote its development.This article are devoted to the research of promotion strategy of Parent-Child Reading Group from the perspective of Public Library.After reading a lot of papers and journals,it turned out that there was very little research focused on Parent-Child Reading Groups.Then the author searched the internet and social network,collected documents and took data analysis and statistics.According to the the information the author collected and interviews of staff in Public Library,the author found out the problems existed in Parent-Child Reading Group,but the Public Library completely do not realize its role it supposed to play.Last,the author proposed four specific strategy for the Public Library to promote the development of Parent-Child Reading Group,which respectively are:servicing guide,resource supply,technical training and information release.Based on the core of servicing guide and supplemented by the function of resource supply,technical training and information release,all the four aspects form a comprehensive three-dimensional strategies to promote the development of Parent-Child Reading Group.
