Research On The Long-term Preservation Of Digital Archives Of Scientific Research Projects Based On OAIS

In the digital era,with the in-depth advancement of the national informatization strategy,the social attention to digital resources has gradually deepened.Big data,cloud computing,mobile Internet and other technologies have changed People’s Daily life,but also produced a large number of electronic documents and data information.These digital resources are not only important records of national scientific and technological progress,but also constitute an important part of social memory.The same as other fields,the number of digital archives produced by various scientific research institutes(including universities)in many interdisciplinary,cross-field and cross-institutional scientific research is also increasing year by year,especially some special scientific research data has already shown geometric growth,their data volume unit has gradually "abandoned" MB/GB to TB/EB.Moreover,as the information resources of scientific research digital archives have the characteristics of huge quantity,diverse types,dynamic changes,etc.,it brings many challenges to the preservation of archives departments.Especially in the long-term safe storage and effective reading of scientific research digital archives,the existing information management platform based on OAIS of each storage unit still has various risks and problems.Therefore,it is very urgent to explore how to improve the long-term preservation and anti-risk ability of digital archives of scientific research projects and optimize the construction of archival information management platform based on OAIS.Based on the OAIS,the paper describes and analyzes all kinds of risks encountered in the long-term preservation of the digital archives of scientific research projects by means of literature reading,questionnaire survey,case analysis and so on.In this paper,the risk problem of long-term preservation of digital archives of scientific research projects is located in the two stages of information generation and information intake,and the related coping strategies are discussed from the aspects of front-end control and quality control;the risk problem of long-term preservation in the two stages of file storage and data management is discussed from the aspects of storage management and security management;At the stage of preservation planning and comprehensive supervision,the risk problem of long-term preservation extension is discussed from the aspects of perfecting the organizational structure of archives system,establishing real-time supervision platform and promoting the periodic evaluation of OAIS preservation environment.
