Comparative Research On Long-term Preservation Projects Of Chinese And Foreign Digital Resources

With the advent of the era of big data,more and more information and documents are produced and distributed in digital form.Digital resources have gradually become the main force for people to use information resources.However,due to the particularity and vulnerability of digital resources,we are given Safe and reliable long-term preservation and continuous and efficient use of them pose great challenges.The research and practice of long-term preservation of digital resources in foreign countries has been carried out earlier and has been more mature.However,the research and practice of long-term preservation of digital resources in China is still in a relatively primary stage,and there is a big gap between them in breadth and depth.On the basis of a thorough review of the long-term preservation proj ects of digital resources at home and abroad,this paper selects ten long-term preservation projects of digital resources with greater influence,more successful and more attention from scholars in the industry,and through the macro and micro perspectives.The long-term preservation project of digital resources is comparatively analyzed.It is expected that the characteristics of long-term preservation strategies of digital resources at home and abroad can be summarized,and the empirical strategies for helping and guiding the long-term preservation of digital resources in China will be summarized.The full text is divided into four parts to carry out research,the main points of this thesis are as follows;(1)On the basis of introducing the research background,related concepts and main research contents,this paper summarizes the research status of long-term preservation of digital resources at home and abroad,and expounds the significance and methods of this paper.(2)Based on the combing the long-term preservation projects of digital resources at home and abroad,we selected ten preservation projects with greater influence,more successful and more attention from scholars in the industry,and introduced the selected objects,and then combed and analyzed them,specialty.(3)From the macro and micro perspectives,the characteristics of the long-term preservation projects of digital resources at home and abroad and the problems faced are analyzed from the perspectives of the host,policy environment,cooperation methods,collection methods and preservation models.(4)Based on the comparative analysis of the target objects,the paper summarizes the strategies for the future development of digital resources in China.
