With the rapid development of science and technology,new media has penetrated into all aspects of our daily lives,and the media environment is showing a diversified development trend.The information consumption and creative production paradigm that has been incubated has made audience information acquisition and interaction more convenient and has become a face-to-face context,which is an indispensable part.The audience's important ability to participate in media activities,and media literacy has always been scholars' main research points.Early scholars overemphasized its interactive technical tolerance,but in recent years,researchers have increasingly emphasized the social capabilities of new media.Media literacy which is compatible with traditional media has been unable to keep up with the speed of media upgrades.The new media technology of the 21 st century has enriched the extensive meaning of media literacy,shifting the focus from the "media use" stage which focuses on mastering media use skills to the second stage of content,sub-creation,and then sharing,the stage of " understanding the media deeply" and "symbiosis with the media" that maintains a long-term connection with information.Therefore,with the rapid development of media technology and information,it is vital to study the dimensions and framework of new media literacy and tap the value of new media literacy.First,the author combs through the history of media literacy development from a historical dimension,and then analyzes the internal and external driving forces of new media literacy in China in the new media era,clarifies the order of media literacy upgrades,and obtains necessary motivation of new media literacy dimensions and framework research.Second,making the definition of new media literacy,highlighting "why it's new" and its similarities with traditional media literacy,and then further subdivide the theoretical framework on the basis of the previous dimensions and frameworks of new media literacy.Discrimination,the dimension of new media literacy has evolved from the subjective dimensions of "production and consumption" into a dual dimension,which contains "critical production and consumption" attached to "functional production and consumption",what's more,case studies are used to demonstrate.So that to let the practice of new media literacy can be more effective and feasible.
