In the face of the pursuit of higher communication efficiency,a large number of smart antenna technologies have emerged.One of the important areas is the transmission and reception system that can realize the automatic traceability of the signal through the direction backtracking.It can realize the incoming signal of the unknown direction without prior conditions.So that the return signal has the ability to automatically point to the direction of the incoming signal.The corner reflectors and Van Atta arrays first appeared in the history of international related technology development,and then the phase conjugate circuit technology and digital signal processing technology were produced after the gradual development of the later technology.The purpose of this paper is to design and produce an antenna array system that can realize the directional traceback function.This article first summarizes and compares the design ideas and implementation methods of various directional retrospective antenna array technologies,and then studies how to implement time reversal through phase conjugate transformation,and verifies the feasibility of the theory in the antenna array,and finally chooses The technical route of using the phase conjugate mixing circuit to realize the directional traceback function is presented.Then,study the structure and principle of the heterodyne mixer circuit,prove that the circuit can realize the phase conjugation function,and build the heterodyne mixer circuit model through advanced design system software,and simulate and verify the signal processing function of the circuit.The principles and performance indicators of modules such as amplifiers,phase-locked loops,mixers,etc.,required to realize the functions of the phase conjugate mixing circuit are summarized,and the appropriate device selection and the design of the partial structure of the time inversion circuit are completed.Based on the design rules and principles of the printed circuit board,the software Altium Designer is used to draw the circuit design schematic diagram and the structure diagram of the printed circuit board to realize the phase conjugate signal processing function.Then,an orthogonally polarized patch microstrip antenna is selected to design the transceiver antenna array circuit part,combined with the time reversal circuit part to form a complete directional retrospective antenna array system.Perform software simulation verification on the model of the entire system to obtain the directional retrospective performance of the system under different incoming wave directions,verify and realize the accurate and reliable redirection capability of the entire system by changing the gain of the amplifier of the RF signal processing circuit,That is,the control and improvement of the radar cross section.Finally,based on the design schematics and simulation results,a prototype of the time-reversal and direction-tracking antenna array is produced.
