Nowadays,with the continuous advancement of the digitalization process,the development and implementation of software projects oriented to advanced technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence are becoming more and more complicated,and the difficulty of project schedule management is becoming more and more serious.According to the current situation of project schedule management in B Software Development Company,this paper analyzes the existing problems in the current schedule management,applies the key chain management method to the schedule management of intelligent agriculture projects in B Company,and puts forward corresponding improvement methods to improve the level of project schedule management in B Company.This study found that Company B has the following three main problems in the project schedule management: resource constraints restrict the timely delivery of the project,inaccurate estimation of the project duration,and delay the project duration due to time waste during the project implementation.In order to solve the above problems,this paper takes the smart agriculture project of Company B as an example.Firstly,the preliminary schedule of the project is worked out and the key paths are identified by using working structure decomposition(WBS),three-time point activity duration estimation,network plan chart and Gantt chart.This paper further analyzes the use of core software development engineer resources in the preliminary project schedule and identifies conflict resources.On this basis,based on the theory and technology of key chain,the schedule of the project is adjusted and optimized under the consideration of conflict resource constraints,and the key chain of the construction project is identified.In order to improve the project efficiency and reduce the risk of project completion schedule,this paper uses buffer technology to compress the estimation of project activity duration,and sets appropriate project buffer,input buffer and resource buffer.During the implementation of the project,the consumption ratio of the input buffer and the project buffer is calculated,and the project progress is effectively controlled according to the three-color principle of the buffer.Finally,in order to ensure the successful implementation of the above schedule management methods,this paper puts forward corresponding implementation safeguard measures and suggestions.The method of software project schedule management based on critical chain technology proposed in this paper not only promotes the development of similar intelligent software projects in Company B,but also has certain reference value for the schedule management of other similar software development projects.
