| Project progress management is essential throughout the construction process in all aspects,A set of reasonable and efficient project schedule management mechanism is not only helpful to make project process be effectively controlled,but also helpful to reduce development costs and even shorten the project duration.Especially,project progress management is important to software projects.As the development of software project has the characteristics of heavy workload and complicated technological process,the delay of software project is more common.It is urgent for many software enterprises to take efficient project schedule management.In this paper,we choose the S software project as the research object.Due to the high capital investment and long development cycle,investors will provide the development resources(manpower,equipment,capital)according to the development progress,so the schedule management of S software project should realize the ‘subsection strong restriction’,these characteristics have greatly increased the importance of project schedule management.At the same time,with the increasement of social demand and the development of software technology,the number of large software projects gradually increased,the characteristics of S software projects also can be found in other software projects.Aiming at the problem of S software project management,this paper introduces several methods of schedule management,include the project duration estimation and risk quantification,whichcan effectively improve the estimation accuracy of the three point valuation method while estimating project duration.And make schedule risk quantitative results more effectively reflect the actual situation of this software project.Based on the analysis of the traditional three point estimation method,this paper has carried on the parameter modification and function modification.In parameter modification,we used the Delphi method to get three broadband point estimate,and according to the variance of each value,we modified the weight of each parameter in the three point estimate method.In function modification,we tracked project history data,and used high order curve regression to improve the accuracy of project duration estimates.After modification,the deviation between estimated value and actual value of the project duration has been reduced,which not only reduce the project schedule risk,but also achieved the demand of ‘subsection strong constraint’in S software project.In order to accurately quantify the progress risk,this paper introduces the risk transfer relationship model into the S software project schedule risk quantification,and modifies the calculation formula of schedule risk.After optimization,the schedule risk quantification results is more intuitive,which helps managers to identify the risk of progress,take reasonable measures.At the same time,it’s also helpful to assess the potential economic losses caused by the delay of the project.Through the research of this paper,the S software project schedule management has achieved remarkable results.However,there are still many issues need to be further studied and demonstrated during project schedule management,such as dynamically assess schedule risk when critical path changes,and track project progress dynamically. |
