Management Of The Library Of Higher Vocational College Student Volunteers

In the past decade, driven by national policy, Chinese college students’ volunteer organization has been rapidly developed. Those organizations with college students as the main body, led by Communist Youth League, has unique advantages, they are easy to be organized, full of enthusiasm and with high personality. What’s more, they have formed following consensus in the process of volunteer services, they think this work not only practices their skills, but also strengthens their sense of citizenship.This article focuses on the management system and the guiding ideology of student volunteer groups in higher vocational school library. Higher vocational education is the primary level of university education. Higher vocational education cultivates talents who have theoretical knowledge and strong practical ability. They are grassroots-oriented, production-oriented, service and management of the first line-oriented, they are practical and technical specialized personnel. In the guiding philosophy of combination of study and work, the facilities of many higher vocational schools are becoming students’ work and practice sites, influenced by this,higher vocational school libraries also should be developed to a place where student volunteers can improve their professional qualities.As a place with high cultural inclusion, strong service and collision of thoughts and ideas, library provides volunteers work experience conveniently and systematically, which makes it a good professional skills nurturing place. Here, library is no longer confined to enhance students’literacy and awareness of information, but to offer many types of service jobs, putting students in a working atmosphere, enhancing students’ multifaceted occupational skills through targeted objectives workflow management. Meanwhile, by conducting students volunteer services, library has built a special efficient-communication and overall-service group, who becomes an important link between the library and the general readers.This article takes present management system of higher vocational school library students volunteer as study object, obtaining first-hand information from the actual survey,focusing onthe analysis of gap between thereality ofthe idealin trainingsession,security systems, andlong-termmechanism,exploring the system matchesfor library of highervocational school studentsvolunteerprofessionalism cultivation, trying to establish a student volunteers quality cultivation management service system which is for professional training base construction.
