| H College of Science and Technology is a provincial undergraduate college located in Zhengzhou city,Henan Province.As an important part of the college,the library of H College of Science and Technology undertakes the task of providing important auxiliary teaching services for the teaching and learning of the teachers and students of the whole college.Facing the fierce market competition,the college has made a new development strategy.The library should also serve the development strategy of the college by increasing service items,perfecting service functions,improving service efficiency and service level.However,for a long time,due to a series of problems in performance management of the library,the work enthusiasm of departments and staff is affected,and the service function of the library is seriously frustrated.Based on the current situation of library of H S&T college,the integrated use of performance appraisal and service management related theory and method of performance appraisal from a library panel and the employees performance appraisal questionnaire,analyze the present situation of performance appraisal of library at present clear library in performance appraisal problems.In view of these problems,considering the library department has many kinds of business,and its work performance and service level are closely related to the whole department,all staff of the department are required to cooperate closely and make joint efforts to determine the research idea of combining department performance assessment with staff performance assessment.In order to work out an appropriate and effective performance assessment strategy to adapt to the development of the college,this paper firstly clarifies the five principles for the development of the performance assessment system,and then clarifies the responsibilities and requirements of each department of the library by analyzing the development strategy of the college and the work requirements of the library.According to the new job responsibilities and requirements,this paper puts forward the performance appraisal index system of each business department and staff of the library successively,and uses the analytic hierarchy process to study and determine the evaluation weight of each index in the index system,as well as the relationship between department appraisal and staff appraisal.On this basis,the assessment cycle,the acquisition and evaluation methods of each index value,as well as the communication feedback strategy and application plan of the assessment results are analyzed and determined.Finally,the paper puts forward the supporting measures to implement the new performance appraisal scheme.The performance appraisal scheme proposed in this paper has been discussed by the relevant leaders and staff in the library of H S&T College,and has been positively evaluated and affirmed. |
