Professiongal Press Evalution Index System Of Performance Appraisal

This thesis is an attempt to construct an index system for performance appraisal of professional publishing houses in China,based on the current situation of professional publishing development,specifically on the problems existing in the original performance appraisal.The economic,social and cultural benefits have been taken as appraisal indicators of the performance of the publishing houses.An analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation(FCE)method have been employed to build an evaluation index system for professional press performance appraisal.A case study has been made of the performance appraisal of five publishing houses including an Agriculture Press,an Agricultural University Press,a Forestry Press,CMPG,SCMG.The economic benefit,social benefits,and cultural benefit,of the performance of the five publishers have been identified,analyzed and compared.A conclusion of coordination of the three benefits has been drawn and suggestions have been put forward for spreading and evaluating the performance of the professional publishing houses in terms of the above benefits so as to guarantee the healthy,stable,and sustainable development of professional publishing in China.
