As the university knowledge reserve,university library provides the literature resources guarantee for the whole school teachers and students in study,work and scientific research.In recent years,with the development of network technology and the enrichment of literature resources,the demand of users for university library service is deeper and deeper,so many colleges and universities gradually join the team of subject librarian system construction.However,the results of academic services in most colleges are not satisfactory.The author thinks that the lack of scientific performance evaluation system of subject librarians is one of the reasons.The construction of subject librarian team is the most important part in the process of subject librarian system.A set of performance evaluation system,which accords with the characteristics of subject librarian work,can help subject librarians better standardize the subject service work and arouse their own enthusiasm and improve their own ability,then better serve the teachers and students in colleges and universities.Constructing a set of scientific and feasible performance evaluation model of subject librarians is an important subject that needs to be explored,and it is also the focus of this paper.Through the way of literature investigation and questionnaire survey,this paper finds out the present situation of the research and development on the performance evaluation of academic librarians in university libr-aries.And by combining the relevant data and academic results with the expert opinions,this paper constructs a set of index system on the performance evaluation of academic librarians in university libraries.Then,some indexes are deleted and modified through questionnaire results,and the corresponding weights of each index in the index system are obtained by using AHP,and the model of performance evaluation of subject librarians in university library based on AHP is obtained.Finally,through the evaluation model,we evaluate the performance of the subject librarians of H University,set up an expert group to score the performance of the subject librarians,and put forward suggestions for improvement according to the results of the evaluation,which provides the basis for the construction of subject librarians in the school.
