Study On Crisis Management Strategy Of Public Libraries Under COVID-19 Epidemic Situation

Public library is a kind of public cultural service facility provided free of charge by the state in order to meet the needs of the people for knowledge and information.It is an important cultural institution and document information platform for the state and society.There are many library crises since ancient times,and there are many types of crises.We need to make timely supplements when facing new forms of crises in order to improve library crisis management.The new crown pneumonia outbreak that broke out at the end of 2019 is a public health emergency of international concern with the fastest spread,the widest range of infections and the most difficult prevention and control in my country since the founding of the People's Republic of China.It has had a major impact on the normal operation of global libraries.Based on the 4R crisis management theory,this thesis studies the crisis management of public libraries during the new crown pneumonia epidemic,reviews the response measures of public libraries in my country,and explores the four stages of crisis reduction,preparation,response,and recovery,through literature analysis and network investigation methods.Obtain the specific measures and activities provided by many public libraries in my country during the new crown pneumonia epidemic,and analyze the current situation of public libraries in my country in the face of public health emergencies.It is found that the service mode of public libraries has changed,and the service content and service types required by readers have also changed.Public libraries have actively improved service methods,explored and sought progress,and operated and planned many high-quality online services during this period.activity.Summarize the changes and new thinking brought by the new crown pneumonia epidemic to the library community,and draw the crisis management model of public libraries under public health emergencies based on the 4R crisis management theory,and explore the crisis management response of public libraries under public health emergencies To conduct strategic research on the experience.It is hoped that it can provide reference when encountering similar crisis situations in the future.And look forward to the new development of the library in the new environment...
