Research On The Construction Mode Of Theme Library In Public Libraries

With the development of China's public cultural undertakings,in order to improve the systematic construction of public libraries,realize the principle of universal and equal services in libraries,protect the cultural rights of citizens,and expand the coverage of the library,the theme library has developed as an effective supplement to the construction of the central-branch libraries of the public library.The theme library is a new type of library,At present,the construction time of theme libraries in our country is short,and the construction of various aspects is not yet mature.However,with the continuous improvement of the public's cultural needs,the public has higher requirements for library services.Providing the public with more professional and high-quality services is the goal of library development.The theme library provides more professional services for the deeper service needs of the public,and improves the content of the public library service system construction.This paper is divided into seven chapters,the main contents are:Chapter 1,Introduction.Introduces the research background,current research status at home and abroad,research content and significance,research methods and innovation points.Starting from the policy guidelines for the systematic construction of public libraries in our country,the content and importance of the construction of the general and branch library system are introduced,and the public libraries should be built into theme libraries.Chapter 2,The basic problem of the theme libraries.It mainly elaborates the definition of thematic services and theme libraries,the constituent elements and construction principles of thematic libraries,and the types and characteristics of thematic libraries.Chapter 3,Survey and analysis of the status quo of theme library construction.The situation of the construction of thematic libraries in my country was investigated,and the Hangzhou Library and the Pudong District Library of Shanghai were selected as typical cases.By analyzing the current situation of the construction of thematic libraries,the key issues of the current construction of thematic libraries were summarized.Chapter 4,Survey and analysis of user needs for theme library construction.The public's demand for the geographical location,environment,collection resources,the facilities provided,the subject service activities provided,and the professional competence requirements of the subject librarians were investigated,and the characteristics of the public's needs were summarized.Chapter 5,Construction and Analysis of the Construction Mode of the theme library.Starting from the status quo of the theme library and the needs of the public,according to the constituent elements of the theme library,constructing the Manager,space,resources and service activities,constructing the construction model of the theme library,and analyzing the applicability of the model at each stage.Chapter 6,Suggestions on the Construction of Theme Library.Based on the analysis of the current status of the theme library construction,summarize the problems existing in the theme library construction,and make suggestions for the future theme library construction.Chapter 7,Conclusion.Affirmed the role of theme libraries in the systemization of public libraries,and looked forward to the development of theme libraries in the future.
