Research On The Construction Of Family Library Based On Central-branch Library System

In recent years,with the continuous improvement of the construction of China’s public cultural system,the public library service system has developed in the direction of equalization,standardization and universalization.The construction of family libraries by public libraries in the mode of central-branch library system has become an important direction for expanding the public cultural service space.The family library based on central-branch library system is of great strategic significance for building a socialist cultural power and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation by enriching social reading resources,innovating reading service models and changing reading concepts,promoting reading for the whole people,and helping the construction of China’s modern public cultural service system.Foshan N-Library is a family library project built by Foshan Public Library in the mode of central-branch library system,which has a certain influence at home and abroad.This paper summarizes the development status of family libraries built in China based on central-branch library system,and divides the construction and development model into three modes: growth mode,extended mode,and progressive mode.This paper takes Foshan N-library as a research case,and conducts in-depth research on the current situation of the construction of Foshan N-library through literature research method,network investigation method,case analysis method and field investigation method.The current situation of the construction of Foshan N-library is elaborated from five aspects,such as management mechanism,resource construction,service content,marketing model,and evaluation and assessment methods,so as to analyze the successful experience of Foshan N-library,mainly including: model innovation,linkage social forces to create and co-build;Government support to create a feasible construction plan;Marketing diversification and cultivating a reading brand for all;Technology empowerment,innovative reading service form.However,there are also certain problems in Foshan N-Library,mainly in terms of management specialization to be improved,service efficiency to be improved,resource integration is not enough,and the incentive mechanism is not perfect.In the future,Foshan N-Library can strengthen construction through the following aspects: strengthen professional and refined management;improve services;encourage social resource investment;and improve the assessment mechanism and innovation incentive mechanism.
