Children in ethnic minority areas on the border of Yunnan are the future of the motherland and the future of the security of the motherland's borders.The promotion of children's reading in Yunnan border ethnic minority areas is of great significance for improving their cultural level,enriching their spiritual life,and even enhancing their identity with the motherland.For ethnic minority areas in Yunnan's border areas,how to study the peculiarities of ethnic minority areas in Yunnan's border areas under the background of the “14th Five-Year Plan” and “One Belt and One Road” is an urgent issue for public libraries in Yunnan's border areas.Problems to be solved.Taking Dehong Prefecture as an example,this paper adopts literature research method,field research method,questionnaire research method and interview research method,etc.,to carry out research on the promotion of children's reading in public libraries in Yunnan border ethnic minority areas.First of all,the research on the promotion of children's reading at home and abroad and the related research on the promotion of children's reading in border ethnic minority areas were systematically inquired and sorted out,forming the general direction of this research.After that,an indepth analysis of the current situation of children's reading promotion services in public libraries in Yunnan border ethnic minority areas was carried out,and the relevant theories and practices of children's reading promotion in Yunnan border ethnic minority areas were sorted out and summarized.Mangshi Library,Yingjiang County Library,and Lianghe County Library surveyed and studied practice,confirmed and revised the theory,from practice to practice,and finally formed a complete and scientific frontier children's reading promotion theory system and A practical system of practice.In this process,the author found that there are difficulties in maintaining the operation of public libraries in the promotion of children's reading in Dehong Prefecture,narrow coverage of minority children's reading promotion,insufficient depth of minority children's reading promotion,poor online service capabilities,and neglect of ethnic culture.Security and conflicts between ethnic language education and Chinese education.In response to these issues,by analyzing the factors that affect the promotion of children's reading in the minority areas of Yunnan's borders,it proposes corresponding measures from the perspectives of the government's institutionalization,funding sources,talent team building,the level of services for children's reading promotion in ethnic minorities,publicity methods,and cultural security.Countermeasures.The innovation of this article is shown in: In view of the particularity of Dehong Prefecture as a representative to the ethnic minority areas in Yunnan's border areas,in the context of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and “One Belt and One Road”,how to deal with children's reading in Yunnan border areas Existing problems in the promotion and how to carry out the study of children's reading promotion work in the minority areas of Yunnan border.
