MOOC-massive open online courses is a new online education mode which started from Stanford University in 2012.It has entered China since 2013.MOOC has provided a new idea for the development mode of higher education in China,and has also had a great impact on the information service transformation of university library.This paper first through reading a large number of domestic and foreign related literature,combing the relevant concepts,development origin and development characteristics of MOOC,and at the same time,using case analysis method to study and analyze the typical MOOC operation platform cases at home and abroad,to provide reference for the future development of MOOC information services in Chinese University Library;Secondly,using SWOT(situation analysis)analysis method,the internal and external factors closely related to the development of MOOC information service in University Libraries in China are analyzed one by one,which provides a new service concept and service system for the development of MOOC information service;Thirdly,we randomly select a number of 211 university library websites in China to investigate the scale,course types and platform selection of MOOC information service.The results show that there are some problems in the libraries of our country,such as lack of attention,uneven quality of librarians,obstacles to sharing of collection resources and lack of management mechanism;Finally,combined with SWOT analysis and the investigation results of universities,the paper analyzes the reasons for the problems,and proposes new ideas for the improvement of University Library and innovation of MOOC information service mode from the aspects of strengthening library promotion,librarians quality education,developing information literacy embedded education,establishing and perfecting copyright cleaning mechanism,and establishing and perfecting MOOC evaluation system.Facing a series of characteristics such as MOOC's large-scale,open,independent and flexible,University Library,as the most important part of the higher education structure system,should take the lead role actively.While improving the service strategy of MOOC information platform,it should actively deal with opportunities and challenges and strengthen the integration of educational resources,innovation of service mode To improve its position in the education field,to inject fresh blood into our country.
