The Practice And Enlightenment Of Children Service In Japanese Public Libraries

Children are the future of a nation,and the importance of reading in childhood is obvious.It is also the duty of children service in public libraries to ensure reading in childhood.Children also influence the future of libraries.Children's recognition of library services can provide high-quality adult readers for future library services.Therefore,how to improve the quality and level of children's service by increasing the children's service items in public libraries has become an urgent and urgent problem to be solved.This paper adopts the method of literature research,analyzes and interprets the relevant literature,and reserves the knowledge of theory and experience,adopts the method of network investigation,and selects the public libraries at county level and above in Japan as the investigation sample,through the network survey method to obtain the original data,and to sort out and summarize it;using the comparative analysis method,on the basis of the survey,to compare the current situation of children service in public libraries in China and Japan,to find out the similarities and differences between the children's service of public libraries in China and that of Japan,so as to learn the advanced experience of children's service of public libraries in Japan.The purpose of this study is to probe into the children's service of public libraries in Japan,and to provide theoretical and practical experience for the children's service of public libraries in China by systematically analyzing the children's service of public libraries in Japan.First of all,this paper introduces the concept,service object,service organization and personnel of children service in public library,reviews the history and summarizes the present situation of children service in Japanese library.Then from the service guarantee,service resources,inter-organizational cooperation,special services,and other aspects of the Japanese public library service system to conduct a comprehensive sorting and induction.Finally,through the in-depth analysis of the children's service in Japanese public libraries,this paper summarizes its advantages and characteristics,and puts forward corresponding suggestions for the reality and development of the children's service in Chinese public libraries.On the basis of the children service in Japanese public libraries,this paper probes into the optimized countermeasures for the present situation of children service in Chinese public libraries.The conclusions of the study are as follows: first,to improve the service plan for children;second,to improve the quality of children librarians;third,to pay attention to service details;fourth,to strengthen the service for children with disabilities;fifth,the establishment of School Library Assistance Center.
