With the continuous advancement of education informatization,more personalized and autonomous teaching and learning has become an inevitable development trend.As a new development based on MOOC,SPOC has the advantages of mixed teaching combining online education and traditional classroom teaching,has a more precise and clear teaching direction,can effectively meet the needs of personalized and professional learning,and is more suitable for school education.It is a teaching solution that applies MOOC resources to a small and fixed learner population.Based on the perspective of distributed cognitive theory,the article uses the course "Web Design and Production" as an example to design and apply SPOC teaching.Based on the analysis of the relevant research on distributed cognition and SPOC at home and abroad,this article combines the characteristics of the course "Web Design and Production",uses distributed cognition theory as a guide,and uses the literature research method,action research method,interview research method and Questionnaire research method,SPOC instructional design and application.Divide the research work into the following parts:First of all,the literature research method has combed the connotation,traceability and development of distributed cognitive theory,combed the connotation of SPOC,compared with MOOC and the composition of SPOC curriculum.And It summarizes the research development of distributed cognitive theory and SPOC at home and abroad from the perspective of theory and practice.Clarify the relevance and advantages of distributed cognitive theory,SPOC,and Web Design and Production.Second,the SPOC teaching link is designed according to the distributed cognitive theory,and the "Web Design and Production" SPOC course is analyzed,designed and developed accordingly with each cognitive element in distributed cognition.Third,analyze and determine the teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching environment and teaching objects,and carry out the application of the "Web Design and Production" SPOC course.During the application process,planning,action,observation,and reflection were used as the research links.Two rounds of action research were conducted to continuously improve and perfect the SPOC teaching design and application strategy of "Web Design and Production" based on distributed cognition.Fourth,through the questionnaire research method and interview research method,analyze the teaching effect of SPOC curriculum based on distributed cognition,understand students' overall learning situation and satisfaction with SPOC curriculum teaching,and modify and improve SPOC teaching based on survey feedback.Design and apply strategies.The research application results show that the Web Design and Production SPOC course based on distributed cognitive theory has more advantages than the traditional teaching course.It is conducive to improving students' interest in learning.The overall satisfaction of students' learning is 73.9%,which is conducive to the cultivation of students' comprehensive abilities and the improvement of course teaching quality.The average scores of the last two sessions have increased by 4.0% and 5.9%.Finally,the study analyzes the problems in the application of the SPOC course based on distributed cognition,and puts forward feasible suggestions for the development of distributed cognition theory and other practical classes guided by distributed cognition theory SPOC curriculum design and application provide reference.
