In 1956, "People's Daily" Was Revised And The Discourse Of News Theory Was Reconstructed

The revision of People's Daily in 1956 is one of the three news reforms in the history of China,which significance of connecting the past and carrying on the future.In particular,it provides both theoretical and practical guidance for the development of socialist news economy in 1978.Based on the historical facts,this paper observes the principle of connecting argumentation with history,collates the relevant materials and corrects the dual framework of " Historical facts and Theory" during the discourses,in order to combine the reform with national narration and analyze the ideology and practice which guiding the reform at special moments.Not only the core of practical news reform,the revision in 1956 is also one of the three key development points of the Communist Party in China.This reflects the efforts and courage of getting rid of the Soviet model and exploring the news theory independently.Specifically,the reform took place in the critical period when China's socialist transformation was basically completed.Faced with Soviet Union's external traction,the Journalism of China based on its own national conditions to self-adjustment the internal news theory.The victory of the new democratic revolution led by the Communist Party of China in 1949 made the society resume development.Moreover,the historical process from"revolution" to "construction" was realized in 1956,and the aim of national independence and unity was replaced by the need of developing social economy,national industrialization and urban function.This change of discourse was kind of the driving force.Soviet experience was the main source of China's socialist construction.However,the emergence of problems affected by the development of international communism has made this transition a tortuous process.The experience in the construction with historical identity from "revolutionary party" to "ruling party" is basic principle of the reform.Insisting on the original news theory while supplementing the relevant social experience,in this way reformation can not only enriches the connotation but also maintains consistency.The current study on news history involves the reform in 1956,highlighting the dominant role of political power in practice.Most of them described the process of reform practice and relate the result to anti-right movement.Changing times offer multiple options for development,and history is translating these possibilities into reality.Even if not chosen,there is value in its existence.Based on the revision of People's Daily and the facts of news history,this paper summarizes the practical significance of news theory and hopes to provide basic materials for the development of news theory with Chinese characteristics.
