Research Of The News Report Of Chinese Ethnic Groups By People's Daily In Recent 5 Years

China is a unified multi-ethnic country,in which national unity plays an important role in achieving stability,economic development and social prosperity.China is a country with a vast territory.There are 56 ethnic minorities with a large population and a wide distribution.In this context,mass media plays a crucial role in the propaganda of the national policy and creating a national harmonious atmosphere.As the newspaper for the Party Central Committee,People's Daily assumes major responsibility in promoting national policy and promoting national unity.In a multi-national environment of different religions,cultures and linguistic backgrounds,it is worth an in-depth consideration and research on how to use the limited layout to complete the task of enhancing national unity,maintaining social stability.In this paper,the national news reports on People's Daily in the past five years are sorted and reviewed,as well as the number of national news reports and the reporting subjects are processed quantitatively.On such a text basis,People's Daily is studied by using methods of content analysis,literature materials and case analysis and by referring to the related theories of the sociology of nationalities.The paper expects to discover the characteristics and find problems of news reports on People's Daily by making use of the first-hand data analysis,as well as put forward solutions with a view to promote the development of national news reports and to explore strategy suitable for coverage on People's Daily,making contributions to enhancing China's national unity and social stability.
