Research On Reading Promotion In Public Libraries From The Perspective Of Equalization Services

Human beings have never stopped their pursuit of fairness and justice.Fairness is a basic value orientation and principle for the construction of an ideal society.The Public Library Manifesto clearly states that library service should be an equal service for all,and everyone has the right to enjoy public library service equally,regardless of age,race,gender,religious belief,nationality,language or social status.Public libraries are places that provide public reading and access to resources for the public.They are cultural windows that serve all classes.In the process of realizing the equalization of public cultural services,public libraries have realized the transformation from passive service to active service through reading promotion.Moreover,by giving full play to the subjective initiative of public libraries,they have promoted the rational distribution of social public cultural service resources among different demands.This paper is based on the premise that public libraries should provide universal and equal opportunities to readers.Based on the theories of users' rights and interests,social equity,public goods and other relevant theories,and in combination with relevant literature at home and abroad,this paper discusses equalization services.The author will investigate and analyze the current situation of reading promotion in China,as well as the content,form and audience of reading promotion in public libraries from the perspective of equalization services.Using SERVQUAL model,the author conducts a questionnaire survey and analysis on the satisfaction degree of reading promotion services from the perspective of equalization services.In order to better carry out the reading promotion activities of public libraries.Research on the promotion of public library reading from the perspective of equalization service can not only make the needs of different readers,promote social reading fairness,reduce the gap in resource allocation,but also play a better role in promoting the future development of public libraries.
