Research On Reading Promotion Ways Of Provincial Public Libraries In China

With the government's increasing emphasis on the national reading,the reading promotion activities of the provincial public libraries are in full swing,and the level of reading is being improved.In the process of reading promotion work,the provincial public library play an important role in improving the quality of the people and expanding the library function.With the rapid development of network information technology,the information carrier is increasingly updated,the provincial public libraries using various types of reading promotion in the process of carrying out reading promotion work.This paper mainly adopts the research methods of literature investigation,network investigation and comparative analysis,and the main research ideas are as follows:First of all,through the network survey,the author found that the current provincial public library not only use the traditional reading promotion ways such as reading club,reading public service training and theme activities,but emerging reading and promotion methods such as portal,WeChat,microblogging,readers purchase and other ways are also plays important roles on reading promotion work.Secondly,the author compares the advantages and disadvantages and the way of resource integration.of the traditional and emerging two kinds of reading promotion methods.In addition,the author summarizes the literature materials of reading and summarizes the five main factors influencing the way of reading promotion of provincial public library as the national policy factors,economic development factors,cultural and environmental factors,information technology factors and readers' reading demand factors.Finally,the problems of the implementation process of the provincial public library reading and promotion methods are:lack of reading and extension professionals,lack of scientific and perfect performance evaluation mechanism,limited reading and special funds for reading and promotion,improvement of reading and promotion conditions,lack of reading and promotion theory Research and user experience is poor.The author puts forward that the provincial public libraries need to cultivate the professional talents of reading popularization,establish a scientific and perfect performance evaluation mechanism,strengthen the cooperation and exchange,improve the conditions of reading and promotion places,strengthen the relevant theoretical research of reading and improve the user experience.
