At present,under the background of "double first-class" construction,the core position and basic role of scientific research in discipline construction have been attached great importance.Improving scientific research productivity is not only the intrinsic requirement of scientific researchers,but also the goal of scientific research and higher education institutions.Publishing papers is a kind of peer sharing.It is not only the confirmation of original publication right,but also an important mean to enhance the academic influence of scientific researchers.So publishing papers is also a part of scientific research literacy.In recent years,rapid development of academic journals not only provide more choices for researchers to publish their research results,but also bring greater challenges to researchers.Scientific researchers need to constantly update the knowledge of academic publishing,quickly and accurately obtain the latest academic information in their field of research,accurately judge the credibility of the obtained academic publishing content,identify and avoid fraudulent journals,publish and disseminate research results conforming to academic evaluation and norms in appropriate publishing modes.Such knowledge and ability are called academic publishing literacy.The level of academic publishing literacy of scientific researchers may not only affect their individual scientific research work,but also have great importance for the improvement of national scientific research strength.At present,the research on academic publishing literacy mostly stays at the stage of theoretical analysis,conceptual elaboration and significance analysis,and there are few empirical research results linking academic publishing literacy with actual scientific research activities.Taking academic publishing literacy as the main theory and sociological empirical research as the main method,we designed a measuring tool to measure the academic publishing literacy of scientific researchers,evaluated academic publishing literacy level of scientific researchers,and explored the relationship between the level of academic publishing literacy and scientific research productivity.The main results of this study are as follows:(1)The measurement system of academic publishing literacy in three dimensions of acquisition,evaluation,publishing and dissemination has been constructed,and it is proved to have good reliability and validity,which is helpful to build a common research foundation for similar research and promote the further development of empirical research on academic publishing literacy;(2)The current level of academic publishing literacy of scientific researchers in China has been obtained,and the results show that the dimension of publishing and communication scored the lowest;(3)Access to obtain academic publishing literacy and working units have significant impacts on the level of academic publishing literacy level.Compared with the single access,three or more access ways help to improve the academic publishing literacy level of scientific researchers.The academic publishing literacy level of scientific researchers in national key universities or research institutes("double-first-class" universities,985 universities,211 universities)have higher levels of academic publishing literacy.(4)There is a positive correlation between the number of papers published by researchers in the past three years and the level of academic publishing literacy,and such correlation is also observed between the number of papers and the acquisition and evaluation dimensions in academic publishing literacy.Moreover,the interaction effects of academic publishing literacy level and academic qualifications,academic publishing literacy level and professional titles have positive impact on scientific research productivity.Based on the above findings,this study proposes two strategies to improve the academic publishing literacy of scientific researchers.One is to carry out academic publishing literacy training programs in various forms,and the other is to build a one-stop service platform for communication and publishing for scientific researchers.
