Study On Of The Publishing Of Trade E-book And The Impact On Public Library

Digital resources has not only changed the public reading environment,but also changed the running mode of the library developing up to now.Because of different interest pursuits of popular publishers and public library,the popular publishers worry more about issues on digital rights management and the influence of e-book services on e-book sales,so they take various measures to limit public library e-book services from their own interests.In this paper,we analyzed and combed the relationship between the popular e-book publishers and public library.By using Internet survey and questionnaire investigation we analyzed publishing subjects,sales models,audience and publishing attitude of domestic and foreign popular e-book publishers,and found that the domestic and foreign popular e-book publishers were actively transforming to digital publishing.In the developed countries,e-book publishing industry has perfect legal system,perfect market mechanism,diversified industrial chains in coordinating operation and so on,which is worth learning and using for reference of e-book industry in China.Through the analysis influence of the popular e-books publishing on the digital resource construction and service of public library,we put forward strategies for public library to promote the development of electronic industry and to deal with the challenge of transformation of digital reading,in order to provide a reference for close cooperation between libraries and publishers and promoting the healthy development of the e-book industry ecosystem.
