With the accelerating process of economic globalization in the 1980 s,with the development of information technology and transportation,enterprises are expanding their scale.Capital,equipment,raw materials,technology and other resources are reallocated globally.Shared service model emerges as the times require.In order to improve the efficiency of financial processing,save costs and improve the quality of financial information,more and more companies are developing to the financial shared service mode,and establishing the financial shared service center.The mode of financial shared service has brought many benefits to the organization,which has attracted more and more attention.How to optimize the performance management of the Financial Shared Service Center under specific circumstances has become a topic of concern to many people.This paper chooses the performance management of S Company's China Financial Shared Service Center as a case to study the optimization of performance management.It is mainly divided into the following parts: Firstly,the research background,research significance,financial shared services and performance management related literature are sorted out.Then it elaborates the theoretical analysis of financial shared service and performance management,and summarizes the characteristics of performance management of Financial Shared Service center.Secondly,after introducing the basic situation of S Company's China Financial Shared Service Center,this paper introduces the current situation of S Company's China Financial Shared Service Center's performance management from performance management objectives,performance management methods and current performance management effects.Thirdly,the paper puts forward the problems existing in the current performance management of S Company's China Financial Shared Service Center and makes an analysis of the causes,including: the low quality of the original financial information provided by customers affects the quality and efficiency of employees' work;the large number of performance indicators,increase management costs and make employees' performance pressure greater;Employees' motivation to achieve performance goals is not high and the turnover rate is high.Finally,the paper puts forward the corresponding optimization countermeasures for the problems existing in the current performance management of S Company's China Financial Shared Service Center.Including improving cooperation with customers,optimizing financial process from the input of original financial information;designing performance indicators system scientifically,streamlining the number of indicators;expanding staff development channels,and increasing performance incentives.In this paper,case study method is used to formulate effective performance management countermeasures for S Company's China Financial Shared Service Center,which can be used for reference to improve the performance of Financial Shared Service Center and achieve the goal of performance management.The main innovation of this paper is that the research perspective is innovative.As for performance management,previous studies mostly focused on traditional business departments or functional departments,while few focused on performance management of Financial Shared Service centers.This paper combines the specific financial business process of the financial shared service center,discusses the problems encountered in the performance management process of the Financial Shared Service Center under the actual situation,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.The conclusion of this paper is a supplement and development to the existing literature on performance management of Financial Shared Service Center.
