Research On Financial Shared Services Of Enterprise Groups

On October 2017 China held the Financial Shared Service Center(FSSC)Summit in Shanghai.During the summit,more than 300 famous enterprise directors shared the achievements and difficulties from their own financial shared service centers,and then analyzed the characteristics and the direction of development under new finance trends for FSSC from different industries,based on the integration of the research reports of financial shared service,the industries and the national conditions of China.The purpose of doing those was to find out a mode fitting for financial shared service of Chinese enterprises through the practices and outcomes of FSSC in different industries.On global perspective,financial shared service has been developing for more than 30 years since the Ford Motor Company started practicing it in 1980 s.In china,the ZX Group started its financial shared service in 2005,and the financial shared service of China has been developing for more than a decade from then on.As it created great achievements in the past decade,the success of financial shared service of China was closely related to the development of information technology,which has become the core driving force of financial shared service,either in accounting computerization or in financial information.It can be said that information technology determined financial shared service.Currently,with the fast-developing information technology,the trend in the Era of Great Wisdom and Mobile Cloud would undoubtedly promote the evolution of financial shared service.Therefore,for enterprises,it would be significant to find out new directions for the development of financial shared service and more ways and solutions for the difficulties during the process of development.Taking the situations mentioned above as the research background,this thesis studied the application of financial sharing in enterprises and groups.and it consists of four parts: the introduction to emergence,development and basic conceptions of financial shared service and the theories of Scale Economy,Process Reengineering,etc.Based on these theories and concepts,ZX Group,the earliest group establishing financial shared service in China,is chosen to be the research object.The purpose of this thesis is to study the development,construction and operation of ZX Group's Financial Sharing Service center,to analyze its the financial data,to summarize the problems encountered in the financial shared construction and operation of ZX Group and the explorative measures applied by ZX group in the face of these problems as well as the effects.At the same time,this thesis provided some references of financial services for the development and construction of Chinese enterprises.Taking ZX as a mirror,it would be favorable for Chinese enterprises to avoid risks in the process of financial sharing construction.Enterprises should develop a financial shared service center characterized with their features according to their actual status.
