Local Bearer Network Based On OTN Technology

In recent years,the Load-bearing network on the communication network has changed greatly.The channel transmission rate has gradually developed from 2.5Gbps to100 Gbps.HD IPTV business has been developing rapidly,and it has brought wide bandwidth and high speed requirements to the transport network of operators.IP business is developing rapidly and business types are increasing.In order to meet the business needs,OTN technology,which combines the common advantages of WDM and SDH is born.It has large capacity,long-distance transmission capacity and flexible access mode.It can realize the mapping and reuse of different granular services and has powerful maintenance and management functions.The application of OTN technology in local bearer network satisfies many kinds of business requirements and realizes the operation and maintenance function of unified business plane management.On the basis of introducing the principle of WDM and OTN technology characteristics,this paper introduces in detail the coverage status,network load and main problems of WDM network in Yinchuan local network and township network,and puts forward the concrete implementation scheme of this expansion and new construction.
