The technology of dense wavelength-division mutliplcxing(DWDM) is the new optical-communication technology appearing in recent years, has already gotmore and more extensive application. The number of channels of DWDM already grows from 8waves, 16 waves to 32 waves, 40 waves, 160 waves. With the growing with each pass ing day of IP business, the communication service represented by telephone of point o f growth of the telecommunication industry is shifted to the information service repres ented by data.DWDM solved traditional telecom business large capacity and the basic problems of the long-distance transmission, long distance DWDM transmission techn ology because can save them a lot of electric relay devices that can greatly reduce the investment cost, improve the system of transmission quality and reliability, good upgr ade expansion potential and effective convenient maintenance characteristics.Basing on the study of wavelength division technology characteristics and network structure,The author introduces the status of network coverage, network load, network quality and the main problems existing in the net of huawei 1600 g wavelength division in Ningxia,in the same time, The author puts forward concrete implementation scheme of expansion capacity construction.
