A. Risk Management Practice Of Bank Server Virtualization Project

With the rapid rise of new fields such as mobile internet application and artificial intelligence in the financial industry,it brings new opportunities and challenges to traditional banking.At present,the number of increasing numbers of servers,not only makes the Bank data center space is almost saturated,and more and more equipment is bound to bring a large resource consumption,high operating costs,how to effectively alleviate the data center room space use pressure,fully enhance its overall service capacity and management level becomes the urgent matter.The core idea of virtualization technology is to create multiple virtual computers on a single physical server and run several different operating systems on it,through the technical means of resource management.The use of virtualization technology can lead to the overall reduction of IT hardware costs,enterprise operational effectiveness is reflected.In this context,this paper uses server virtualization technology,the reorganization of the planning A Bank server hardware resources,between October 2016 and August 2017,successfully completed A Bank server virtualization project(referred to as the BOCSHPTV project)the overall implementation,successfully resolved before the resource consumption is large,High operating costs,effectively easing the data center room space use pressure,the overall upgrade of its overall service capabilities and management level.Firstly,the paper analyzes its advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges by using SWOT analysis method to analyze its advantage,disadvantage,opportunity and challenge,and formulate the overall strategy of project implementation.Then the risk Identification tool is used to identify all the elements in the process risk and to form four types of risk assessment models: Technology,guarantee,outsourcing,according to different risk factors and characteristics,make corresponding strategies of risk avoidance,risk mitigation and risk tolerance,at the same time,it also creatively constructs the risk early warning system and risk monitoring system,real-time capture and dynamic control of the implementation of the project risk changes.Through the exploration and practice of A Bank server virtualization project,the paper this paper sums up the risk management methods and means in the virtualization project,and forms a complete set of risk control system(including reasonable risk coping strategy,complete organization function structure,efficient risk early warning system,comprehensive risk contingency plan),it also provides reference and positive reference value for the future implementation of A Bank and other IT projects.
