In the era of economic globalization, innovation has become an important driving force for national economic development. Moreover,China's economy has entered a new normal and is at an important stage of shifting from factor-driven and investment-driven to innovation-driven,economic structure adjustment, and growth and speed reduction. In order to ensure the stable development of the economy, the Chinese government has successively proposed innovation-driven development strategy, mass entrepreneurship,innovation,supply-side structural reform,Made in China 2025,and high-quality development and other Innovation-related strategic initiatives. As the main body of innovation, enterprises shoulder the main responsibilities and missions in the innovation ecosystem. However, the innovation of entrepreneurial enterprises requires enterprises to search for knowledge resources, integrate and reconstruct the searched knowledge resources and their own existing knowledge resources, and improve the efficiency of innovation activities. Therefore,in this study,it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to explore the influence of boundary-spanning search behavior of entrepreneurial companies on enterprise innovation performance. In order to understand the "black box" of the process of boundary-spanning Search's impact on corporate innovation performance, this study introduces ambidexterity capability as an intermediary variable to gain an in-depth understanding of the internal mechanism of boundary-spanning Search's impact on corporate innovation performance. The main contents of this study are as follows, summarized as follows:(1)The introduction part introduces the theoretical and practical background of this study, the theoretical and practical significance of the study, the specific content arrangement of each chapter, the research method used, the Ideas, technical routes and possible innovations.(2)The literature review section first elaborates on the theories involved, mainly including open innovation theory,knowledge-based theory, and dynamic capability theory;and then focuses on the four cores of boundary-spanning search, ambidexterity capability, enterprise innovation performance, and environmental turbulence. The concepts, measurement dimensions, categories and existing research of variables are summarized.(3)The research model and research hypothesis part define and divide the core variables in this article, and build a theoretical model. On this basis, the five basic research hypotheses of this paper are proposed: boundary-spanning searchpositively affects the innovation performance of enterprises;boundary-spanning search positively affects the ambidexterity capabilities;ambidexterity capability positively affects the innovation performance of enterprises;ambidexterity capabilities have an intermediary role between boundary-spanning search and enterprise innovation performance;the higher the environmental turbulence, the stronger the impact of boundary-spanning search on enterprise innovation performance.(4)The research design part describes the design principles, specific contents, variable measurement design process, sample selection and data collection of the questionnaire.(5)The empirical analysis and hypothesis test part first used statistical software to test the fit of the model conforms to the requirements and the scale also has good reliability;secondly,it tested: boundary-spanning search has a positive impact on enterprise innovation performance(Hypothesis 1 is verified);boundary-spanning search has a positive impact on ambidexterity capabilities(exploration capability and utilization capability)(Hypothesis 2,Hypothesis 2a,Hypothesis 2b are verified);ambidexterity capability(two dimensions of exploration capability and exploitation capability)has a positive impact on the enterprise's innovation performance(Hypothesis 3,Hypothesis 3a,Hypothesis 3b are verified);ambidexterity capability(two dimensions of exploration capability and exploitation capability)have a significant partial intermediary role between boundary-spanning search and enterprise innovation performance(Hypothesis 4,Hypothesis 4a,Hypothesis 4b are verified); The higher the environmental turbulence, the stronger the impact of boundary-spanning search on the company's innovation performance(Hypothesis 5 is verified).(6)The research conclusion and discussion section first summarizes the conclusions of this research, and then proposes three management implications. Finally, the limitations and shortcomings of this study and the future research prospects are proposed. This study used 274 valid questionnaire sample data to verify the measurement tools and research hypotheses of this study with literature analysis methods, questionnaire methods and statistical analysis methods. The following five aspects were found: boundary-spanning search positively affects enterprise innovation performance;boundary-spanning search positively affects dual capability;dual capability directly affects corporate innovation performance;ambidexterity capabilities have a significant intermediary role between boundary-spanning search and enterprise innovation performance;the higher the environmental turbulence, the stronger the impact of boundary-spanning search on corporate innovation performance. The conclusions drawnin the research have theoretical and practical significance to the innovation activities of Startup enterprises.
