Research Of Online Reading Guidance Service System Based On The Theory Of Bibliography

With the advent of the Internet age,the development of the Internet and digital technologies has changed the carrier form and distribution channels of literature,as well as the reading habits of readers.The modern reader has a more urgent and precise need for literature.However,the exploding volume of information and the disorderly and uneven quality of information on the web have created a significant reading barrier for readers.In such an information environment,readers are prone to shallow reading,fragmented reading,and utilitarian reading in their spontaneous reading.In this background,university libraries,as documentation centers and education departments of schools,have the responsibility and obligation to help readers,mainly college students,to select and obtain the needed documentation resources,form good reading habits,and to promote classical reading and deep reading,ultimately help readers to form a reasonable knowledge structure and excellent comprehensive literacy through reading.Traditional forms of guided reading services have struggled to adapt to the demands of the web and digital age.Therefore,it is necessary for libraries to adapt to the information environment and the reading habits of readers in the network era and develop new types of online reading guidance services by using network and digital technologies.Research on online reading guidance has gotten some results,and online reading guidance services have been extensively carried out by university libraries in China now.However,the online reading guidance service of universities is still in the development and hasn't formed a perfect service model.Therefore,this thesis aims to propose a solution for the online reading guidance system,which can provide a reference for the construction of online guided reading services in university libraries.Bibliographies have the function of guiding read.And online reading guidance is also the direction of modern bibliography research.This thesis attempts to research the work of online reading guidance from the perspective of Bibliography,apply the concepts and methods to online reading guidance,and tries to build a system of online reading guidance services in university libraries.There are six chapters in this thesis.The first chapter outlines the background,purpose and significance of the study and the research methodology.Through the review of the research literature on online reading guidance,this thesis finds that domestic research focuses on theoretical issues and foreign research focuses on technologies and practices,but there is not enough research on the system and model of online reading guidance.The second chapter discusses theoretical issues.Firstly,the concept of reading guidance and the concept and content of online reading guidance are clarified with the current research.Then This thesis analyzes reading guidance from the perspective of bibliography,discusses the value of the core concepts in Chinese classical bibliography for reading guidance,analyzes the methods of traditional guide-reading bibliographies in China to guide reading and their disadvantages.This thesis also presents the further development of reading guidance in bibliography research in the digital age.The third chapter surveys and analyses the current situation of the online reading guidance services in university libraries.This thesis first selects the website of the "Project 211" library in China as a sample,and investigated the general development and common ways of online reading guidance services.The websites of 12 university libraries with good online reading guidance services were selected as typical for specific analysis.Finally,it summarizes the development of online reading services and points out their problems.In the fourth chapter,under the premise of theoretical induction and cases study,this thesis proposes the principles and methods for constructing the online reading guidance service system of university libraries and design the model of online reading guidance system of university libraries.In the fifth chapter,we take the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Nanjing University as examples,analysis of their online reading guidance services and pointed out their shortcomings could be improved.The sixth chapter summarizes this thesis,proposes the direction of development of online reading guidance services,then figures out the innovative points and shortcomings of this thesis,and the direction of further research.
