Research On Reading Guidance In University Libraries

The information explosion is in the knowledge society. While information and information transmission are diverse, the information garbage is everywhere. So, whether it is the times of the paper reading or digital reading, it is urgent to establish a scientific and effective reading guidance system, to guide readers in the information ocean to access valuable information. The university library is the document and information center, which bears the dual task of school teaching and scientific research. In order to fulfill its intelligence and education value, and meet the wide and varied information needs of readers, the university library has been working for Reading Guidance research and practice, and achieved some success. However, in the era of information overload, only depending on one library can not satisfy the information needs of readers, but also not meet the career goals of resources sharing, even more not keep up with development trends of the times. Then, under the network environment, how to make the reading guidance more scientific, more systematic? For readers, how to make the reading guidance content more authoritative, more professional? And make the reading guidance activities more attractive? Such as these, it is worth thinking by librarians.This paper studies the problem which is the research of reading guidance in university library. At first, it introduces the basis of the study and appropriate research methods. Secondly, it adopts the literature method to collect related documents at home and abroad, and get the necessary background information and facts. By comparative analysis, the author reveals the similarities and differences between domestic and foreign ,and existing problems. In order to resolve the current problems, this paper adopts the systematic analysis method and elaborates strengths and weaknesses of the reading guidance in university library. To play university library resources, technology, equipment, personnel, environment and other advantages, to overcome ideas and concepts , organization building, team building, discipline building and other weaknesses, by the integrated use of expert consultation, site survey and examples law method, the author proposes some measures to carry out reading guidance in university library, striving to make the reading guidance scientific and systematic , the contents authoritative and professional, activities more attractive for readers.There is some reference value for the solution to the current problems of the reading guidance in university library.
