A Study On Nationwide Reading Promotion Under The Leadership Of Government And The Participation Of Social Forces In Pingshan New District Of Shenzhen

For individuals,reading can increase knowledge and inspire people's lives;for cities,reading can radiate strong creativity and promote the continuous development of cities;for nations,reading can improve the quality of the people and the national soft power of culture.The beginning of reading promotion in our government was the implementation of the national "Knowledge Project" in 1997.With the extensive promotion over the years,the reading activities have become a "prairie fire" trend,which is blooming all over the country.In reading activities across the country,Shenzhen has always been at the forefront and strives to become a model for the national reading promotion.Under the background of the construction of " Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area","Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou economic circle(3+2)" "Shenzhen Eastward Strategy",Pingshan New District has been upgraded to an administrative region.With the great attention of the party and government,the governments of various districts in Shenzhen have encouraged and supported public libraries,schools,enterprises,and media in their jurisdictions to carry out reading activities for all.As a newly established administrative area and post-development area,Pingshan should seize the historical opportunity and carry out the work of reading promotion.Based on the above background of Shenzhen's urban development,this article focuses on the Pingshan New District of Shenzhen.By studying the basic status of Pingshan government and libraries,schools,social organizations,news media,reading promoters and other five major private forces participating in national reading promotion,this paper summarizes the main achievements of Pingshan New District as a post development area,has made major achievements in national reading promotion.In order to improve the current national reading promotion mode led by Pingshan government and participated by social forces,some corresponding improvement measures are proposed.And try to provide some guidance and reference for the reading promotion in Shenzhen,Guangdong Province and even the post development areas of the country.The full text is divided into 5 parts,the main contents are as follows:Chapter One,Introduction.This chapter first describes the research background and reasons,research significance,research content and methods of topic selection.In addition,the papers of China National Knowledge Network(CNKI)on regional reading promotion from 1997 to 2020 were analyzed.At last,it analyzes main concepts: national reading,reading promotion,government and society.The second chapter is the status and achievements of the reading promotion carried out by the Pingshan District Government.This chapter analyzes the basic development status of national reading promotion of Pingshan District Government from five aspects: reading infrastructure construction,reading funding input,professional talent team construction,theme publicity and reporting,and national reading brand activities.The third chapter is the main achievements of social forces participating in reading promotion of Pingshan New District.This chapter selects five major social forces in Pingshan,including libraries,schools,social organizations,news media,and reading promoters,and analyzes their basic development status.The fourth chapter is about the main achievements in reading promotion of Pingshan New District.On the basis of chapters 2 and 3,this chapter summarizes the main achievements of the government and the main social forces in the reading promotion of Pingshan New Area as a post development area.First,the government attaches great importance to national reading promotion.Second,innovate and deepen organizational reform.Third,focus on introducing experts and scholars in various fields.Fourth,fully mobilize various social forces.Fifth,focus on creating well-known reading brand activities.Chapter 5,Improving countermeasures for national reading promotion in Pingshan New District.This chapter is mainly based on some important challenges and historical opportunities for the urban development of Shenzhen currently faced by Pingshan New District,and proposes some countermeasures to improve the model of government leading and social forces participating.First,improve the mechanism of national reading promotion.Second,establish a digital reading platform for everyone.Third,cultivate Pingshan Native Folk Reading Organization.
