Research On The "vision Project" Column Of "United Daily News" In Taiwan

In 1988,the Taiwan authorities announced the beginning of a “full lifting of the ban”.The newspaper industry has achieved an unprecedented “press freedom”,but at the same time there has been entertainment and pornographic flooding;political struggles have occupied headlines every time;Serious;no one cares about the people's livelihood news of the greatest concern;a series of problems such as the decline in the professionalism of journalists in journalism.So far,Taiwan 's newspaper industry has not developed in the direction of the healthy and orderly expected by the public,but a phenomenon in which press freedom has been overused.The “Taiwan Area Press Freedom and Media Reliability Survey” conducted by Taiwan scholars since the 1980 s shows that Taiwanese people have less than 60% of confidence in newspaper news;in 2006,survey research showed that Taiwan 's mass media only gained After 1% of the public trust,99% of the people did not believe the media.As one of the four major newspapers in Taiwan,"Lianhebao" has a wide audience and a large circulation.The image of Taiwanese media today has naturally had a large impact on "Lianhebao".In order to change the image of the Taiwanese media in people's eyes and to improve its own competitiveness,the United Daily News created the "Vision Project" as one of its most important columns.This article takes the "Vision Project" column as the research object,integrates qualitative and quantitative research methods,and sorts out a total of 450 reports on 49 special topics from the establishment of the "Vision Project" from 2012 to June 2019 as a sample.In order to better show the research results,this paper summarizes 24 charts in the research process to analyze the "vision project" news reporting framework.The main contents of the research include the following parts:The first part mainly elaborates the research origin,research significance,research content and research method of the thesis,summarizes the research on the frame theory,and introduces the sample selection,time range and sampling method of the thesis,to build the categories for the following research.The second part analyzes the most important part of the news selection framework constructed by the "vision project" column;the third part analyzes the news construction framework of the "vision project" column;the fourth part starts with a more detailed perspective and uses Gan Mossen's "Interpretation Parcel Theory" analyzes the content framework of the "Vision Project" column,and summarizes at the end of Chapters 2,3,and 4,respectively,to summarize the media presented in the "Vision Project" news framework of this chapter Image.Finally,the fifth part summarizes the control factors that present such media image in the Vision Project column.Through analysis,it is concluded that the "Vision Project" column does indeed advance in accordance with the "road towards public welfare media" that it has created for itself,and presents a responsible media image in terms of content selection,number of reports,main topics,and reporting tendencies..The final study believes that the media under the private ownership system want to present a responsible media image,which is related to the economic environment,political environment,media audience and internal media conditions of the media.These factors jointly control the "Union The development direction of the newspaper.
