The Media Discourse Analysis In Environmental Transmission Of "United Daily News" In Taiwan

Intensifying ecological destruction and environmental pollution makes the environment problem get the more and more attention of the whole society, the media has become the focus. Media plays a vital role in environmental propagation, its construction and shape the people’s perception of environmental problems, media discourse research environment, the thesis presents the characteristics, is particularly important. This study is based on communication and sociology, makes the agenda setting theory as the theoretical perspective analysis the propagation characteristics of the media environment and the practice and way of the environmental propagation in the context of environmental propagation of Taiwan. It’s trying to explore some of the new changes in our environment by analysis Taiwan’s "United Daily News" on Taiwan’s most polluted river Erren River environmental news content, and then explore the causes and impact of changes in clarify the advantages and disadvantages of environmental propagation of Taiwan,in order to provide useful reference for environmental transmission of other regions.The environmental reports of Er ren River on Taiwan’s "United Daily News" broaden the coverage of environmental news topics, focus on the process of environmental governance, actively supervise and manage the behavior and direction of the body of environmental protection, guide the whole community to actively concerned about the environment, etc., are worthy of our mainland propagation environment to learn.In this paper, the first chapter introduces the research background, purpose, significance, subjects, current research, research methods, as well as key and difficult points. The second chapter defines the concepts referenced herein. The third chapter describes the sampling method, use the content analysis to construct and code statistical category of samples, and also use the literature analysis to discuss the reasons of characteristics of media discourse in Taiwan environmental propagation. The fourth chapter collate and summarize the series of conclusions drawn from the analysis of data, and made some suggestions for the existing problems.
