In the context of any political and economic culture,the presentation and interpretation of ideology cannot be separated from the language,and a large part of the people's political knowledge comes from the mass media,especially newspapers.The newspaper reports in the process not for everything but according to the newspaper representing the political position or interest group and then form its own unique "sieve",it also conveys self-interest information,promotes selfish opinions and influences of audiences' cognition on events in the concrete reports.Therefore,the main purpose of this article is to explore the contents and the frame of reporting Kaohsiung Incident under the news blackout through analyzing the frame of print medias reporting political incidents and analysis the relationship between politics and media,and the true face of media of Kaohsiung Incident;at the same time through combing Kaohsiung Incident in the development process,readers are enable to increase understanding of Taiwan's democracy movement and the "Taiwan independence".This article also makes up for the deficiency of the relevant researches.This study found that after Kaohsiung Incident,due to the political pressure and terrifying atmosphere,the media reports cannot often reflect the truth of Kaohsiung Incident,they monitored by the Kuomintang government.And the speeches tended to people of Kaohsiung Incident were very little.But it can be clearly found that there were still subtle differences between papers under intense pressure.After Kaohsiung Incident,people of Taiwan gradually understood this incident and began to really care about political events.With the subsequent movements intensified,more and more media and people began to care about Kaohsiung Incident and voice of outside the Party.More and more Taiwan people started thinking about the future trend of politics,eventually pushed Taiwan towards democracy,which the media played vital role in this incident.Control of media,public media manipulation phenomenon reflected in the period of martial law is very obvious,with the political forces,the Taiwan media became the Kuomintang government mouthpiece of the people,but even so,the coverage of the major political events in the period of martial law is still the media can emit different from the mainstream sound.
